Day 14: Brussels

Our final day in Brussels. Frankly speaking, 4 nights in the capital is a bit too long. Tourists usually linger around for 1 to 2 days. We were the exception. But hey! We needed a breather from the hectic travel schedule. On a lighter note, we had 3 full days of chocolates to savour.

Cool!

We selected the last day to buy chocolates since we wanted to keep them as fresh as possible. I burnt a hole in my budget when I bought a few boxes of truffles, a block of milk chocolate and 250g of Leonidas pralines.

Sweet!

Brussels can be covered in an entire day. Since we had so much time in our hands, we spent a considerable amount of hours watching television programs in our hotel. A wide selection of English, French and Dutch programs were available so we never had a dull period.
